Cardometer editorial team — who we are and how we work
Cardometer is a trading card price tracker published by WXQ Sp. z o.o., the company behind Klockometr, a LEGO price comparison site. Every day we collect prices for 20,065 cards from 19 games and write guides for collectors.
Who we are
The Cardometer team is made up of card collectors and people who have built price comparison sites for years. We combine knowledge of the card market (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more) with reliable daily price data.
Where our data comes from
- Card prices — trend, lowest price and averages from Cardmarket, Europe’s largest card marketplace, collected daily (details: how we price).
- Card catalogue and images — TCGdex, Scryfall, Lorcast, OPTCG API, YGOPRODeck and other open databases, complemented by the Cardmarket catalogue.
- Shop prices — sealed products from Polish shops, checked daily, with price history.
How our articles are made
Our guides answer questions collectors actually ask search engines. Every article is built on data from our database — price tables are generated live and update automatically. Drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools, and facts from outside our database are checked against the sources listed under each article. We have published 19 guides so far; new ones appear on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Editorial principles
- Independence — we are not affiliated with game publishers or Cardmarket. Shop offers are sorted by price only, never by commission.
- Affiliate links — some shop links are affiliate links; we label them and they don’t change your price.
- No investment advice — we write about data and risks, we never promise returns.
- Dates — every article shows its publication and last update date.
Corrections
Spotted a wrong price or an inaccuracy? Use the contact form — every price also has a report button. We usually fix errors within 2 working days and update the article’s modified date.
