How we price cards
In short: we show the Cardmarket trend price of a specific card variant, every day, with a date. No rounding up, no “discounts”, no mixing of variants.
What “market price” means
It is Cardmarket’s trend price — an indicator Cardmarket calculates from recent sales and listings of Near Mint copies. Next to it we show the lowest listing and the 1-, 7- and 30-day averages.
Variants
The same card is often printed in several versions: normal, holo, reverse holo, 1st edition, promo stamps. Each variant has its own price and its own row on the card page. The headline price and rankings use base variants only (normal, holo, reverse), so rare promo stamps do not inflate a regular card’s price.
Price drops and risers
The change is today’s trend versus the 30-day average of the same variant. Cards under €3.00 and changes below 8% are left out — for cheap cards a handful of sales can move the average by dozens of percent, which is noise, not information.
Euros and zloty
Cardmarket prices are in euros. The Polish edition converts them at the National Bank of Poland mid rate (table A) of the pricing day and shows that rate next to the price.
History
We have recorded every card’s price daily since October 29, 2026. The price history chart appears on a card page after a few days of data.
What these numbers do not tell you
Prices are for Near Mint, ungraded cards. Played cards and PSA/CGC/BGS slabs trade at different prices. A price is not an offer to buy or sell, nor investment advice.
